The Harcourt Hotel is located in a fine Georgian House, formerly home to G B Shaw, and on Harcourt Street, in the heart of one of Dublin's business districts. The hotel is located just two minutes walk from St. Stephens Green and Grafton Street, and is the ideal location from which to explore and enjoy Dublin's fair city.

The carefully restored Georgian hotel is one of Dublin's best Georgian hotels, and its original style and character combined with its famous literary history make this hotel an experience to remember. The staff are friendly and helpful, the accommodation elegant, and the dining and entertainment of a high standard.

Accommodation
The hotel offers 86 beautifully appointed en suite bedrooms, each designed to evoke feelings of the grandeur and elegance experienced during the height of the Georgian era. Standard facilities in each of the rooms include multi channel remote control televisions, direct dial telephones, trouser presses, tea and coffee making facilities, and hair dryers.


Dining & Entertainment
Aptly named after G B Shaw, the hotels excellent restaurant offers a full range of Mediterranean and International cuisine, and is very popular with both guests and locals alike. Offering traditional Irish music sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and live music most nights, the hotels Harcourt Bar is a popular rendezvous point with both visitors and Dubliner's alike.

For a quieter drink and a chat, guests will enjoy the tranquil setting offered in Barney George's bar, which is also located in the hotel. The hotel is also home to the famous Velvet Night Club, one of Dublin's most cosmopolitan and friendly night spots.

Conference & Banqueting
The Harcourt Hotel boasts six new conference rooms, each suitable for meetings of between two and forty delegates. The brand new conference rooms were opened in the latter part of the millennium year, and offer clients state of the art audio visual facilities.

Each of the rooms has been carefully restored in order to retain its traditional Georgian Character, and provides clients with a somewhat refreshing alternative to the ordinary, clinical conference rooms offered by many establishments today.

Location
The hotel is situated on Harcourt Street, just a two minute stroll from The Gaiety Theatre, beautiful St. Stephens Green, and cosmopolitan Grafton Street with its exclusive selection of shops, bars and clubs. Just five minutes stroll from the hotel, visitors will find The National Gallery, Government Buildings and The Natural History Museum. Located under ten minutes walk is fashionable Temple Bar with its fantastic and varied selection of Bars and Restaurants, the Olympia theatre which is very a popular concert venue, and of course O'Connell Street, Dublin's main street with its excellent shopping facilities. The hotel is located in the heart of one of Dublin's business districts, and the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), in Dublin's docklands is located just a 15 Minute stroll away.
