The Charles Stewart offers bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Dublin city. It is a listed building with much historical interest; being the birthplace of the famous Irish author Oliver St. John Gogarty. All of the original architecture at the Charles Stewart has been restored with many of the rooms boasting spectacular ceilings.

All of the rooms are en-suite and are fully equipped with TV; iron , tea and coffee making facilities and safety deposit boxes. Guest amenities include international payphone and TV lounge with free wi-fi internet access. Non smoking rooms are available. A 24-hour reception service is offered.

The Charles Stewart is situated opposite the Gate Theatre and the Garden of Remembrance on Parnell Square East. The guesthouse is only one minute from Dublin's main thoroughfare; O'Connell Street and there are tour buses available literally on the doorstep. The Irish Writers Museum is just across the road; the James Joyce Museum is around the corner and Trinity College is ten minutes walk away. Dublin itself is Ireland's largest and most cosmopolitan city. With its many fine buildings; numerous sites of interest and almost tangible sense of history; the city is a fine introduction to Ireland. Bisected by the scenic River Liffey; Dublin has plenty to offer visitors with its beautiful parks; history-rich suburbs and the best in Georgian architecture. It is also a city rich in culture with many theatres; concert halls; galleries and museums to explore. Of course; no visit to Dublin would be complete without a visit to one of the many fine; traditional pubs to sample the true atmosphere of real Ireland and perhaps take in the sounds of a traditional musical session. The city also boasts some of the best shopping facilities in Europe.
