The North Star Hotel is located in the heart of Dublin City Centre, opposite the Irish Financial Services Centre, minutes stroll from Temple Bar (Dublin's "Left Bank"), O'Connell Street (Main Street), Trinity College, Shopping Districts, including Henry Street and Grafton Street, and around the corner from the central bus station (Busarus). For all GAA fans the North Star is the ideal base and is just 15 minutes walk from Croke Park stadium. While the hotel is located near all major transport links including the bus and rail stations as well as being just 25 minutes from the airport. The North Star Hotel Dublin Ireland itself was built in the early 19th Century, predating the railway station by four decades, and is mentioned in James Joyce's masterpiece 'Ulysses'.
